Crew

Sign in for the first time

Get into your organization’s crew app, whether you were invited by email or use a Google or Microsoft account.

Accept your invitation

Your organization adds you, and you get an email that says “You’re invited to” your organization.

  1. Open the email and tap Accept invitation.
  2. On the Choose your password page, type a password of at least 8 characters in New password and again in Confirm password.
  3. Tap Save and continue. You’re signed in and your dashboard opens.
  4. Next time, go to your organization’s address and sign in with your email and that password.

The link works once. If it says Link unavailable, it has expired or was already used. Go to the sign-in page and use Forgot password? to get a fresh one.

Sign in with Google or Microsoft

If your organization uses Google or Microsoft sign-in, you’ll see a Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft button on the sign-in page. You can use it instead of a password.

  1. Go to your organization’s sign-in page.
  2. Tap Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft.
  3. Pick the account your organization knows you by and finish signing in.
  4. You come back to your organization’s app, signed in.

If your organization lets people join with their school or organization email, signing in this way with an address at that domain adds you as crew the first time. Otherwise you’ll see a message that you aren’t part of the organization yet. Ask its administrator to add you, then sign in again.

If you forgot your password

  1. On the sign-in page, type your email in Email address.
  2. Tap Forgot password?.
  3. Open the email and tap Choose a new password.
  4. Type your new password twice and tap Save and continue.

Belong to more than one organization

One account can belong to several organizations, like two theatres or a school program and a community theatre. Each one has its own address.

To jump to another one, tap your initial at the top of the page (on a phone, More) and choose Switch organization. You stay signed in.

If you sign in on the main site instead of an organization’s address, you’ll see Your organizations, a list of every organization your account belongs to and your role in it. Tap one to open it.

Your hours, shifts, and role are kept separately in each organization.

Find your way around

Home is your starting point. What you see depends on what your organization uses, but it can show:

  • The Build Hours card with Scan crew QR, or a running timer and Clock out while you’re clocked in.
  • Approved Build Hours, Waiting for approval, and Next on the calendar.
  • Your next call, if you’re called for a rehearsal or performance.
  • Your requirements, your progress for each show and semester.
  • Your upcoming shifts, Upcoming Build Days, and Recent hours.

On a phone, the bar at the bottom of the screen has your main tabs. Tap More for the rest, plus Settings and Sign out.
