Create your organization

Sign up in about a minute, pick your web address, and you’re the owner from the start.

  1. Go to the platform’s home page and find Create your organization.
  2. Type your Organization name, like Riverside Community Theatre or Lincoln High Stage Crew.
  3. Check the Web address. It fills in from the name, and you can change it. You’ll see Available when it’s free.
  4. Enter Your name, Email, and a Password of at least 8 characters.
  5. Choose Create organization.
  6. Open the confirmation email and follow the link. You’ll be signed in and taken to your organization’s Stage Management page.

No email after a few minutes? Check your spam folder, or submit the form again to resend it.

Choose a good web address

Your organization lives at its own address, like riverside-theatre.yourplatform.com. Crew bookmark it and sign in there.

  • Use lowercase letters, numbers, and dashes. It can’t start or end with a dash.
  • Keep it short and easy to say out loud at a crew meeting.
  • A few words, like help, support, and admin, are reserved.
  • You can’t change the address from Stage Management later, so pick it carefully.

On the Enterprise plan you can also serve the site from your own domain, like crew.yourtheatre.org.

Already have an account?

One account works in every organization you belong to. Sign in first, then create the organization. You’ll only be asked for its name and web address, and you’ll own it with the account you’re signed in as.

Signed in on the platform’s home page, Your organizations lists everywhere you belong. Choose Create an organization there to start another one.

First steps once you’re in

  1. Add your logo under Branding, if your plan includes it.
  2. Create your first show in Shows & crews.
  3. Add your stage managers and crew in Crew, one at a time or from a spreadsheet.
  4. Look through Modules and turn off anything your organization doesn’t use.
  5. Schedule your first Build Day and print its QR code.

Rename Build Days

If your organization calls its scheduled work sessions something else, you can use your own name everywhere in the app, including in this Help Center.

  1. In Stage Management, open General under Settings. On a phone, tap More to find it.
  2. In the name card, type your own Name, like Work Call. Add a Plural (optional) if it isn’t just the name with an s.
  3. Check the preview, then choose Save name.
  • To go back to the default, clear Name and save.
  • Calendar apps subscribed to your calendar show the new name after their next refresh.
  • QR posters you’ve already printed keep the old name until you print them again.
