Crew

Archive and restore crew

Archive people who’ve moved on so their hours stay on record, and bring them back any time.

Why archive instead of delete

Accounts are never deleted. Archiving keeps every hour, sign-up, and record, but the person can’t sign in to your organization and doesn’t count toward your plan’s limits.

It’s the end-of-season step for graduating seniors and volunteers who’ve moved on.

Archive someone

  1. Open Crew and find the person.
  2. If they’re clocked in, choose Clock out first.
  3. Open the ••• menu and choose Archive crew member.

They stay in the list with an Archived tag. If they also belong to another organization, they can still sign in there.

Restore someone

  1. Open Crew and find them. Search helps with a long list.
  2. Open the ••• menu and choose Restore crew member.

They can sign in again right away, with all their history.

Restoring counts toward your plan’s limits again. If you’re at a limit, archive someone else or upgrade first.

Who can archive whom

  • Administrators can archive anyone except themselves.
  • Stage managers can archive crew, but not other stage managers or administrators.
